Armani Perfume - Emporio and Giorgio Armani Fragrances, Aftershave and Cologne

Founded in 1975 by Giorgio Armani, this Italian fashion house of the same name has established itself as one of the most prestigious names in the fashion world. Known for its elegant simplicity and sophistication, the brand has expanded beyond clothing and now encompasses everything from jewellery and accessories to cosmetics (and of course perfume and cologne) as well as home interiors and most recently hotels with the opening of the Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa, currently the world’s tallest building.

Giorgio's first Armani perfume was released in 1982 and in true Armani fashion was simply called Armani Femme. This women's perfume (which has since been discontinued) was followed a few years later by the release of the first Armani fragrance for men, Armani Eau Pour Homme, which is still available today. Since then, Armani has released over thirty fragrances and colognes under the original Giorgio Armani label as well as the more youthfully inspired Emporio Armani label and exclusive Armani Privé label. Armani Prive Cuir Noir - New Fragrance - 28 November 2011

Armani Introduces Armani Privé La Femme Bleue 2011 - 16 November 2011
Giorgio Armani have launched a new exclusive fragrance in their Armani Privé collection called La Femme Bleue. In a bid to push the exclusivity envelope, it has been issued at only 1000 numbered copies worldwide, turning the new jus and its hazy blue bottle into a de facto collector item. [ read more ]

Armani Announces New Idole d’Armani Fragrance - 27 May 2009
Keen to mirror the success of their male fragrances, Armani has announced the forthcoming release of Idole d’Armani, a new women’s fragrance. It’s been a while since the launch of Armani Code Pour Femme (2006) and in the interim we’ve had Emporio Diamonds and the Onde range which was aimed at a more selective clientele, none of which has really matched the success of Armani Code for Men.
