Creed Perfume

Originating in England in 1760, the House of Creed was originally a tailoring business, founded by James Henry Creed. Remaining in the same family for over 250 years, it is one of the oldest family-held businesses in the world. In the middle of the 19th century, the establishment began to gather fame and credibility when it was frequented by notables of the day, including the Count d'Orsay and Queen Victoria. The firm, now called Creed & Cumberland, was issued a Royal Warrant by the Empress Eugénie, for their skill in tailoring.

Today, the company is based in Paris, France, and is run by Olivier Creed, along with his son Erwin Creed, who is expected to eventually take the reins. A strong belief in quality, which has paid off with the attention of more than 10 royal houses, continues to define the company. Fragrances are produced using hands-on techniques, including in the maceration and filtration process. They also strongly believe in the use of natural products for their scents.

With a fragrance line that includes such classic scents as "White Flowers" for women and "Green Irish Tweed" for men, Creed can be expected to remain a favorite in the fragrance field for a long time to come.
