Karl Lagerfeld Perfume and Aftershave

Although born in Germany, fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld bases his work in Paris, the fashion capital of the world. Quite the busy man, he not only runs his own Karl Lagerfeld label, but also is the head designer and director for Chanel and Fendi.

Karl Lagerfeld started his career in the fashion industry in the 1950s, when he moved from Germany to Paris and worked as an artist for several fashion houses. His first collection in 1958 was poorly received, but his collection in 1959 was widely applauded and was described by many as elegant, chic and classy.

Always controversial, Karl Lagerfeld has sparked many discussions from his choices of models to his stance on using fur and leather in his pieces. Today, Mr. Lagerfeld continues to run his fashion empire, which includes stunning and elegant haute couture and ready-to-wear women's and men's collections, as well as accessories and even a crystal art collection, called Orrefors by Karl Lagerfeld.

Karl Lagerfeld first launched his fragrance collection in 1978 with "Lagerfeld Classic," a men's fragrance. His fragrance collection currently includes such favorites as "Lagerfeld Femme" for women and "Kapsule Floriental," which is a fragrance for both women and men.
