American fashion designer Marc Jacobs is not only the head designer for his line of fashion wear, also called Marc Jacobs. He also runs the line Marc by Marc Jacobs and is the creative designer for Louis Vuitton. He grew up in New York, where he graduated from the High School of Art and Design, and also studied at the New School and the Parsons School of Design. He burst onto the fashion scene in 1993, when he was released from Perry Ellis after designing a grunge collection.

After opening the first Marc Jacobs boutique in 1995, the boutiques are now spread around the globe, and include his line called "Little Marc" for children. Known for being both daring and elegant, his style selections include men's and women's ready-to-wear, as well as unique and fun footwear and classic handbags.

The Marc Jacobs fragrance collection includes such favorites as "Marc Jacobs Bang" and "Daisy Eau So Fresh." Marc Jacobs fragrances tend to be flirty, feminine and playful, as well as being surprisingly affordable.
