Stella McCartney Perfume
Daughter of Beatle Paul McCartney and activist Linda McCartney, Stella McCartney was born into fame and luxury. She designed her first jacket at the age of 13 and today she is a prominent British fashion designer. As a teenager, she interned for Christian Lacroix, and later worked for Edward Sexton. She studied at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Her first show was in 1995, where her collection was modeled by her friends Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.
Like her mother, Stella McCartney is a prominent supporter of PETA and refuses to use fur or leather in her designs. She does use wool and silk, however. In addition to her clothing line, she also has a line of skin care called CARE, using 100 percent organic ingredients.
The Stella McCartney fragrance line is wildly popular, and undeniably sexy and feminine. From the sublime "Stella Sheer," which features organic rose grown in a cooperative, to the introductory fragrance "Stella,” McCartney’s fragrances make the most of her ecologically sound philosophy. Her products feature organic and natural raw materials and are produced in an environmentally responsible manner.
