Valentino Perfume and Aftershave

Italian fashion house Valentino was started in Rome in 1960 by Valentino Garavani. He rose to fame in the mid-1960s, achieving a Neiman Marcus Award in 1967, a prestigious award comparable to an Oscar for fashion. Some of the notable figures who were his customers included Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Today Valentino produces haute couture, ready-to-wear, accessories including handbags and the "Timeless" collection of watches. The style is purely Italian, authentic and luxurious. The distinctive "V" emblem can be found on pieces that avoid being overly trendy and faddish and can be worn from season to season without losing their glamour and appeal.

The same can be said of Valentino's collection of fragrances. Not overly trendy, yet stylish and tasteful, the collection includes such favorites as the crisp scent "Valentino" introduced in 1986, which remains popular, and "Vendetta," a rare and opulent fragrance in a delightful bottle that resembles a flaring dress, perfect for a late evening. The Valentino fragrance collection for men includes "Valentino V Pour Homme" and "Very Valentino," a distinguished and masculine scent.
