Calvin Klein Euphoria Fragrance Review

So, what's my flavour of the month?

It has to be the new Calvin Klein Euphoria.

Lets start with the packaging... the colour itself - deep, grapey, delicious - just makes you want to open the box & see what's inside! Then there's the bottle. It's enchanting - it's a bottle that's made to be held - it's very curvy and yet sits comfortably in the hand. It's refreshing to have something so completely different! Everything about this one is mysterious & seductive - right down to the colour of the perfume - an intriguing shade of pink/purple.

On to the actual fragrance then, and lets face it... after the box, the bottle and the colour of the perfume, there was a lot to live up to! At first spray, I have to admit... I was disappointed. I didn't think it was much different from any of the other Calvin Klein fragrances. I was expecting something different! But then, as the day went on, different is exactly what I got as the fragrance matured & I just fell in love with Euphoria - as did my husband.

For those of you who aren't fans of citrusy fragrances, don't be put off by the initial Citrus top notes. These will fade - as top notes do and what you will be left with is something warm & oriental with deep and woody mahogany and cream accord.

It makes me think of an exotic, delicately purple kissed orchid. It's long lasting & powerful without being overpowering which is great because you can be sure that at the end of the day / evening, you will still be able to smell it.

It's a fragrance that makes you feel gorgeous / exotic / magnetic. It's subtle yet powerful enough to sweep you away into a world of fantasy with each smell.
