This is probably one of the most enduring and timeless of the Dior fragrances.
It is presented in a simple but stylish frosted and rippled effect glass rectangular bottle. Very Parisian I thought!
I immediately recognised the scent when I first tried this fragrance, and it turned out that this is one of my mother's signature scents. But don't for one minute think that this is just for the more mature lady. It is simply one of the most classic and elegant fragrances currently available.
On first application you get a burst of sharp herbal scents that mellow quite quickly into the floral and feminine heart notes of jasmine and rose. This dries down to a base of warm and earthy patchouli and oakmoss. All these fragrant nuances gently unfold on the skin in subtle harmony.
It's feminine and sophisticated; think... wearing a little tailored, fitted suit, whilst sipping coffee al fresco in Paris on a warm autumn afternoon! Do you get the picture?
They don't make many perfumes like this anymore!
Also long-lasting and stable, it just needs a little time to dry down on the skin before you can truly appreciate it.
Wear this perfume daytime or evening, at work and as long as you don't over-apply it, to formal events, such as a job interview or a corporate function; and it's still sexy enough to wear on a romantic evening out too.
A must for any fragrance collection – will lend a touch of vintage chic to any occasion.
