I had to wear this fragrance a few times as I was not sure about it at first. Chypre-type fragrances usually take a while to grow on me. The perseverance was worth it and I now am happy to include this in my perfume wardrobe and I have learned to appreciate its character.

This is a fresh fragrance with initial sharp chypre and citrus top notes on first application, slightly masculine but not manly. The tomato leaf lends a sharp "greenness" to the initial impression, which I like, as it is a clean smell.

The heart notes soon come through and soften this fragrance with the floral tones, but it does not lose its chypre twang that stays with this perfume throughout.

The dry-down is slightly synthetic and the woody notes are not that apparent but there is a finish to this scent that is a little hard to describe (although I will do my best) ... it basically has a robust , musky dry-down that is not unpleasant at all and is somewhat reminiscent of White Musk (but stronger and more complex).

The sillage is reasonable and its staying-power very good.

Presented in a tall, pillar, diamond-shaped bottle with alternating frosted and clear glass sides; simple, stylish and unfussy.

Lively, sharp notes are not lost when this perfume dries-down; this is a clever and agreeable fragrance and one for the summer months, for both daytime and evening occasions.
