Light Blue is presented in a sky-blue velvety rectangular box. The simple rectangular frosted glass bottle is topped by a sky-blue lid. It has a slightly androgynous look to the whole presentation.
The scent itself is initially very light and sweet-citrusy. I cannot smell much apple in the top notes, but it is zesty and fresh. As the fragrance dries down, I can catch a hint of rose, and cedar but sadly I cannot detect the jasmine at all. The base notes are distinctly musky with a nice citrus twang. It's not a complex fragrance and it eventually dries down to just a couple of notes.
On the whole Light Blue is inoffensive and pleasant. It is ideal as a daytime perfume, especially on a lovely sunny day – or perhaps on a day that just needs brightening up. I have Light Blue in my own collection and I do really like it. I will wear it on occasions when I simply want to smell nice without drawing attention to myself or the fragrance I am wearing. A great scent for the office but be prepared to top it up if you intend to wear it all day, as it's not noted for its stamina.
Light Blue is naturally a scent that appeals to both men and women, as it is fresh, zesty and easy to enjoy with its uncomplicated fragrance. It certainly has its place in any perfume collection.
