Emporio Armani Diamonds for Women Review
Launched: 2007
Perfumer: Thierry Wasser
Perfume Type: Oriental Fruity Floral
Strength: EDP
Perfume House Description:
"The sensory blend is a surprising gourmand fragrance to give a stone a flavour and to a woman a self confident and audacious feeling."
Top Notes:
litchi, raspberry
Middle
Notes: patchouli, freesia, rose, cedar, lily of the valley
Base
Notes: vanilla, amber, vetiver
First notes are decidedly floral and fruity, but very soon the patchouli and cedar warms the fruits and florals, turning this fragrance into a Floral Oriental style perfume.
On the dry-down there is only a trace of the creaminess of vanilla. The vetiver adds a delicate light and almost citrusy twang to the composition and keeps it from getting too musky and woodsy.
It is quite a complex scent, and is relatively long-lasting too.
Presented in a clear glass bottle that is faceted to resemble a diamond.
This fragrance is not too heavy but deep enough to be worn as an evening scent as well as during the day, and although not striking it is both fruity and floral as well as being warm and spicy, which unfolds well on the skin and is very easy to wear.
A great purchase for those wishing to expand their Autumn fragrance wardrobe.
